Experience

Trained at MIT in Mathematics (BS) and Computational Design (MS), my unique background enables me to work at the intersections of design (graphic and user experience), engineering (software and hardware), business (consumer products and services), operations, and human empathy.

I’m particularly proud of my contributions while at Adobe, first developing Creative Cloud Libraries, and then laying foundations for Generative AI and Firefly with my early work on the Sensei Assistant.

While building iPods at Apple, I learned to scale large efforts globally between teams in the US and China, under intense time pressures, without sacrificing user experience or quality. I witnessed the value of engaged, inspirational leaders who walk the talk and get involved.

When designing core components of Microsoft’s Windows Phone (Metro), I had the privilege of working side by side with top UX designers in the field, learning first-hand how to break down complex problems and create stunning user experiences.

Even in my first role out of graduate school, while I worked as a game producer for Shockwave.com, I experienced the unique power of teams that work well together, communicate openly, and have fun in the process.

Throughout my career, I learned and developed best practices and skills, enabling me to be an effective and practical leader, an accomplished product and design thinker, and forever

a champion of the customer ␥ user ␥ human at the core of the story.
